Course Summary:
The anterior maxilla presents with complexity for dentists that are placing dental implants because of their having to ensure that anterior dental implant restorations are esthetic and function effectively. Restorations in the anterior maxilla also have to be expedient because most patients are not willing to be without restorations for a long period of time. The goal in treatment planning is to have a balance between patient expectations and what is accomplished with every implant restoration. This involves ensuring that potential risks to esthetic success are identified early and addressed prior to dental implant restoration. The goal of this course is to present information on how to do that as well as review types of provisional restorations for the anterior maxilla and their indication for use with dental implant therapy
