PDF Course: RIDGE AUGMENTATION PROCEDURE


Ridge Augmentation procedures involve techniques to increase dimensions of a deficient edentulous ridge beyond the confines of the skeletal envelope. Ridge augmentation procedures are utilized to correct deficiencies in bone creating adequate bone and soft tissue volume for optimal location of dental implants on the alveolar ridge. The goal of this course is to review the procedures utilized for Ridge augmentation, their indications for use, advantages and disadvantages as well as review Classification systems for ridge deficiency and necessary therapy to correct them. The goal of the course is also to present on Case Reports with outcome assessments that allow a review of the clinical application and treatment outcomes that guide the decision process for dentists recommending or utilizing ridge augmentation procedures for their patients.
